Welcome to the one more exclusive type searching device from TypeIndex.org!
Of course we often look for just one typography, for a single use, but all of us graphic designers knows that to build a lay-out requires often more than this : generally, you need a type for the titles or Headlines, and another one for the Body copy (i.e. texts). And the most important thing, they shall work together!
Then, here is the Font Associator ¨, an easy-to-use device that helps you to browse both kinds of types, and associates them, right before your eyes.
USER TIPS :
this search engine works randomely : the idea is not to use pre-recorded associations, but to broaden your mind, and provide unexpected association.
First, click on the CHANGE ALL button : it will change both typographies randomely. Do this until one of the font fits you.
Then, click on the CHANGE buttons of the other typography, until you find something that fits you for each one. Note that typefaces for body-copies are automatically searched among the fonts that really fits this use, while Titles are searched among all typefaces registered in Typeindex.org...
Once you'll have found 2 font faces that works great for your project, and associates well altogether, you can click on each typeface image to open the specific font page, get more infos, and ultimately, go get it!
